Fascinated by all things challah
For years I’ve been fascinated by all things challah. How to make them come out beautiful. The aroma that fills the house when they are baking. The strands. The shapes. The HOLINESS OF THE MITZVAH.
I loved it so much I just couldn’t keep it to myself. I shared it by putting out a book and a website devoted to the mitzvah of challah, recipes and techniques.
But something else happened, something even I did not anticipate.
People started calling me with requests:
“I also want this! Will you come and share your challah know-how with us too?”
So I went out there and started teaching it. And I saw firsthand how much women everywhere connect through this mitzvah. Through the experience of doing it together. This is what makes a challah show such a powerful, connecting experience. What makes the women light up and get excited together.
